Sydona Anderson - Agent
Sydona Anderson-Fernández is an experienced real estate broker working the Albuquerque market, having practiced over twenty-five years in a variety of projects. Raised and educated in San Juan County, New Mexico, one of her fields of expertise is in new home construction, with an emphasis on green technology. She holds the National Association of Realtors’ (NAR) GREEN designation, and is a member of the New Mexico United States Green Building Council.
Sydona’s professional experience includes having owned her own real estate company in San Juan County for many years, serving on the San Juan County Board of Realtors as a director of numerous board committees. She is a graduate of the Realtors Association of New Mexico (RANM) Leadership Class of 2007, and the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors (GAAR) Leadership Class of 2011. She has also completed several training courses, including Ninja Selling.
An active member of RANM, Sydona is a Silver Donor to the Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC), an alliance working toward advancing political candidates and public policies that protect and promote home ownership and property investment.
Sydona has worked with several new home builders, and was involved in projects with the Animas Land and Water Company, one of San Juan County’s largest private landowners. She has sold timeshares with Fairfield Resorts, now Wyndham, and Palm Harbour Homes. Previously, Sydona worked as a real estate agent with Christopher Webster – Sotheby’s and Dreamcatcher Real Estate Co. in Taos.
A former member of the Board of Directors for the San Juan Symphony, Sydona’s other activities include membership in Kiwanis of Rio del Sol and serving as historian for the Daughters of the American Revolution. Sydona enjoys spending time with her husband, Peter, and her extended family, when she’s not traveling domestically or internationally.
